The Whimsy cottage at Weldborough, NE Tasmania is less than two hours drive from Launceston Airport and four hours from Hobart. If you are sailing in on the Spirit of Tasmania, the drive is three hours from Devonport.
Weldborough is located on the Tasman Highway and nearby towns include Bridport 1 hr, Scottsdale 45 mins, Branxholm 25 mins, Derby 20 mins, Pyengana 25 mins, Legerwood 30 mins, Bay of Fires 1 hr, St Helens 45 mins
In this area of Northeast Tasmania there are supermarkets in Branxholm, St Helens and Scottsdale and bakeries in St Helens and Scottsdale.
The East Coast Village Providore in St Helens has local meats, meals, salads, fruit and veg, seafood, sweets, beer, ciders, wine.
The Derby Pitstop includes a café as well as some general stores.
Derby Post Office and Lolly Bar stock supplies such as milk and a large range of lollies stored in glass lolly jars to mix and match
The Pyengana Diary Farm Gate Café has a great range of cheeses and other dairy, gourmet foods, local products, wines, beers, spirits.
Little Rivers Brewing Company is a boutique craft brewery in Scottsdale that has a range of beers including a trails range with 23 stitches, Smash, Detonate and Kuma Gutza. Also spirits including Gin.
Bridport Distilling Co. is a boutique distillery located at Bridport.
Darby-Norris Distillery produces Gin and Vodka in Scottsdale

We are fortunate to have the historic Weldborough Hotel just a 5 minute stroll away. Open for lunch and dinner (check days/times with the Hotel). Serving Tassie craft beers, ciders and pub food.
PYENGANA
Pyengana Dairy Company farm and Holy Cow Café breakfast, lunch, morning/afternoon tea. Award-winning cheeses, local gourmet products. Try the ploughman’s platter and also the scones and watch the happy cows wander in for milking
The Pub In The Paddock one of Tasmania’s oldest pubs (1880). Located on St Columbus falls Road. Priscilla is the resident pig.
